This is How Criminals Can Collect Data About You From Just Your Aadhaar Number

In the wake of the recent 'Aadhaar dare fiasco' by TRAI chief Ram Sewak Sharma, a security expert has explained the grave risks if only a person's Aadhaar number falls in the wrong hands. Once a criminal succeeds in obtaining your mobile number by using the Aadhaar number, all privacy hell breaks loose. The victim's mobile number can be easily cloned to receive OTPs linked to a host of services, be it social media platforms, mobile banking, etc. and all sorts of other scenarios. And since a person's UID is unique and irrevocable, the privacy nightmare will continue even if the victim changes his/her mobile number. Tap on the first icon below to see just how much data is linked to your Aadhaar card.

Get Dark Mode on Your Favorite Websites with this Chrome Extension

If you're someone like me, who loves to use the dark mode on all apps and websites, there's a possibility that you have been on the lookout for a great extension that can apply a dark theme to anything you view in the browser window. That's where Deluminate comes in handy. Deluminate is a Chrome extension that doesn't simply invert the colors to create a 'high-contrast' mode like other extensions but also offers a ton of customization to the users. It allows you to control readability by adjusting the dimness, while also giving you the option to tweak how images are inverted, if at all. The default 'smart invert images' option worked mighty fine for me but playing around with all the settings for a while will help you find that sweet spot for a dark theme. Check out Deluminate on Chrome Web Store right here

Did You Know? Google Is Teaching AI to Create More AI

It is believed that the next wave of industrial revolution will be driven by artificial intelligence (AI). But, did you know that there are AI programs that can create other AI without the help of humans? Yes, Google recently introduced what may be the most jaw-dropping AI innovation yet. It's called AutoML - a technology that can utilize neural networks to teach itself. AutoML is a machine-learning software that can help create machine-learning software. With AutoML, Google aims to address the shortage of machine-learning experts who can make the software. Google's early testing of AutoML shows that the technology may be faster and more efficient at writing the layers of code necessary to create machine-learning neural networks that beat humans. Although AutoML is still in its early stages of development, it is believed to have the potential to accelerate the entire field of AI faster than what was ever imaginable.
