In the wake of the recent 'Aadhaar dare fiasco' by TRAI chief Ram Sewak Sharma, a security expert has explained the grave risks if only a person's Aadhaar number falls in the wrong hands.

Once a criminal succeeds in obtaining your mobile number by using the Aadhaar number, all privacy hell breaks loose. The victim's mobile number can be easily cloned to receive OTPs linked to a host of services, be it social media platforms, mobile banking, etc. and all sorts of other scenarios.
